Trask Research, a division of WM Barr, was founded for the purpose of providing superior mold control products to DIY’s and the mold remediation market. Trask develops and markets superior mold control products to promote our customers' well-being and minimize the damage and ill effects that can result from mold exposure. Our product line provides safe and effective control with testing and detection kits, cleaning products, protective gear, and moisture prevention.

Unfortunately the frequency of natural catastrophes such as floods and hurricanes has built consumer awareness of mold and mold-related allergies and illnesses to an all-time high.

Trask Research is proud to be at the forefront of companies working to solve the mold, mildew and water damage problems that extreme weather conditions can cause.

On August 18, 2008, WM Barr & Co., Inc. (Memphis, Tennessee) acquired the Trask Research product line.

Please rest assured that this consolidation will have no effect on the excellent customer service that you are accustomed to receiving and that it will continue under WM Barr’s ownership.

Some website maintenance has been necessary to transition to Barr’s company policies and shipping procedures. In addition, some contact information has been updated. Overall, this website will continue to function as it did prior to the product line ownership transfer.
