The most important thing for you to know is that mold (also called mildew) is a form of fungus (from the fungi kingdom) that spreads quickly, destroys what it grows on, and thrives in moist conditions. Your number one defense against this invasive organism is to keep moisture to a minimum in your vehicle. If it's already too late for that, dry it out as soon and as thoroughly as possible and then apply a surface cleaner and a fungicide to kill the fungus down to its very roots.
